Welcome To
The Blue Dog
Discover The Blue Dog, nestled in the quaint North Lincolnshire village of West Halton. Formerly The Butchers Arms, our pub has been fully refurbished over the past year, bringing a fresh new look while keeping the welcoming character of a proper village pub.
Whether you’re stopping by after a scenic dog walk, meeting friends for a drink, or settling in for a home-cooked meal, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting. Enjoy a wide selection of beers, ciders and fresh ales, alongside delicious home-cooked food served daily.
Nearly a year on, The Blue Dog has firmly found its feet at the heart of West Halton, a place for locals, walkers, four-legged friends and visitors alike.
Discover Our
Restaurant & Menu
Set in the heart of the countryside, our restaurant offers a seasonal menu inspired by traditional pub classics. Our dishes are carefully crafted with care using only the freshest quality ingredients.
Still the Original Bar
During the refurbishment, we were careful to preserve the original bar. With its timeless beams and classic woodwork untouched, it continues to be the heart of the pub. A space that has witnessed countless tales of joy and sorrow, where generations of guests have shared stories and set the world to rights.
